Departmental Dinner

It has been such a long break since my last blog, more than a month! Here's the latest update on the event that I joined recently. My department came out with such a creative idea of organising Live Band performance, originally participated by the staffs from my department! Actually this had been iniatiated for more than a month ago. After one month plus of practice with my band, the performance came to reality on 29th November 2007 with 3 other great bands! I guess we all had to perform in front of a crowd of maybe 600+ people, well I forgot the number, but it was a good experience. I was the vocalist in the band, and this time I was singing the type of songs that I don't usually do. We aimed to really rock the event and did 2 rock tunes, with the last song being The Best Damn Thing (originally from Avril Lavigne) but we replaced the word 'Damn' with 'Grand' due to sensitivity issues. The musicians had a rough time on the stage especially the main guitarist and drummer. The guitarist had his guitar connection to the speakers cut off in the middle, but thank God he managed to plugged it back on time. And the drummer... man... hats off to him for staying calm and steady when one of the toms fell off! He had the bass flowing, and snare rolling as he fixed the tom! They all did such a great job! Oh, did I also mention that I had another team who was involved in Fashion Runway? We had to come out with design of our own. Not only that, we also had to handmake it ourselves! Hmm, not like I had any experience in this at all :P But we managed to pop the design out eventually. Here some pics of the event. More to come after I get pics from other cameraman, I did not take any pics with my own cam that night, was too busy running around :S

Double Standard

We had some appreciation meal at KFC today after church. J and I both ordered a large mashed potatoes. As usual, the gravy pre-packed with the mashed potatoes was very limited. So by the time we munched half of the mashed potatoes, the gravy was all gone into our tummies. Both of us wanted more of the gravy, so the lazy me just requested J to ask for it. He came back with no change on the container, nothing more or less.
PF: Eh, what happened?
J : The fella says finish already.
PF: Kenot be... sure got more in the kitchen! Lemme try :P

So I aimed for the male assistants this time! With a polite smile, I requested for it
PF : Hello, ada lagi tak gravy ni? Susah nak makan dah kering ni..
KFC: Oh sure. Kitchen ada lagi

A few seconds later another male staff approached me and offered to help me refill the gravy. He got into kitchen and came out with a full-filled of gravy and with a polite smile too!

HAHA... double standard for females... so be it... :P

Prison Break... where is it heading to?

OH NO!!! Sara... my favourite character in Prison Break is GONE!!! This is totally unbelievable, how could they have the main character of PB killed? URGH...! I loved her character so much. Well, she's a mom now... not sure who was really the one making the decision to quit playing Sara in the series. It's quite contradicting, rumors are saying that it was Sarah Wayne Callies (SWC) who made the call, but French sources are reporting SWC saying this, "Yes, but I didn’t have the choice. I’m sad, but it’s just show business", and "I’ll just say this. I am sorry to let down the viewers. I have loved the support Sara Tancredi got from them. and though she was a victim of her own destiny, I liked how she made decisions by herself. But the way things ended up couldn’t have been foreseen. Again, I was deceived by the decision."

Nobody outside the PB crew really knows the truth... Sigh, it's just disappointing that this very significant character is just gone like that. It's also ridiculous how Sara got killed. Why would the bad guys wanna kill her so fast? It's just too fast! I know everybody is hoping that the head was fake, but up till now, the director or SWC herself ain't hinting anything on reviving Sara's character. I wonder if this series will be halted this season? Will Michael find his new love again? If he does within this season, then it's a cheapskate series. After all Sara had done for him, how her Dad got murdered and all, he just finds a new love? Hmm... I personally wouldn't wanna see that in this season. That's just too fast!

G-day (for Greenday?)

This is my theme song for now. Well, I have liked this song since it was first released back at 2 years ago. The MV is also one of my favourites! Now this song is back in this phase of my life with another significance... hmm, 'why' u may ask... Hmm, doesn't matter why, one person will know why :P Anyway, here's the MV, enjoy ;-)

Intel Idol

Ok, I was really disappointed and frustrated with the results from Intel Idol last Friday. That's because the results really did not make sense! The judges were sitting there for nothing good but just to write down the marks of the contestants' performances. They never uttered a single word to comment on the contestants' singing at all, and by the end of it, some unexpected results (of course very political) just popped out. Even those who obviously sang out of tune got to the top 3. Oikz... enough of frustration, sometimes we just have to face the reality, politics is everywhere, just live with it!

Hmm, since quite a number of friends asked for the pics, I'll show you some! Hee~
Posing before going on stage

The stage was all mine for a moment!

The Mak(s) both in finals!

'Bloody' Day 2

Remember I told you about the bad experience I had from the blood donation? Well, I thought I wanted to take back my words for complaining bout the 'hanging scissors' case because it seemed that my arm was perfectly fine. No bruise nothing. Alas, I underestimated it! The effect really showed only after 3 days! The bruise started to show since yesterday, and this is what it looks like today:

I hope there won't be a 'Bloody Day 3' :P

Oh by the way, I think I did not clarify that the speculation I mentioned on blood donation are actually not true. Sorry if I caused anyone of you to misunderstand. I was merely sharing out some rumours that I hear from grandma stories. Donating blood is actually a healthy thing to do. But please do not overdo it. Always watch your hemoglobin and health level before going for it!

Finale, Was It That Grand?

Finally this is the day of Intel Idol Finals. Hot yet a fun day. Great experience to be performing in front of the crowd. Interesting to dress myself up in ways that I have never done before. Confusedly not understanding the results. Not because I am not the winner, but there are other contestants who did better than the top 3. Speechless and puzzled. Singing is a fun thing to do! Nothing much to blog about this competition for now...

'Bloody' Day

What are you thinking??? No, I am cursing my day!

I have another first encounter of my life today! Hee hee, I actually participated in a blood donation which was held in my company. Hmm, I guess the GH was quite desperate to get the blood... Well, you see, I was actually laughing in excitement when my blood pressure was measured. Hence, it showed a higher reading than usual (98/66), which was 103/68. Hmm, she said I am fit enough... well... I had to continue laughing to make my blood pressure higher throughout the whole process after that.

It wasn't a very good experience for me though. I can never forget how the nurse actually left a scissors clipping to the tube with a needle poked in my vein, and the pair of scissors was actually hanging in the air!!! OUCH!!! What a scary first time experience for me!!

Hmm, there are also some speculation on the consequences of donating blood.

1. Donor will gain weight after that!!! Oh boy... please don't let this happen to me.

2. Donor will get addicted to donating blood and has to do every 3 months. -.-:

3. Donor will get very very very weak. IMO, this could be true, and that's why I am taking plenty of fruits and supplements.

Ahh... perhaps I have to buy more chinese herbs like ginseng or 'patt chan' to rebuild my blood cells. Hehe...

My Graduation

YAY!!! It's my BIG day today!!! I managed to catch sufficient amount of sleep for the long day that I would have to go through. Cut it short, the convo ceremony started at 230pm, and all graduates were supposed to be seated by 220pm. Well, since my apt is just opposite USM, I thought I'd have loads of spare time by starting my journey there at 145pm. Boy, I was so wrong! We took the wrong turn in USM and ended up going in a loop which led to nowhere but the exit gate! Clock was ticking to 200...210...215... -.-" I was so so nervous thinking that I was surely missing the convo ceremony already! HF boldly took a narrow turn (because the road was blocked) to get to the convo hall no matter what, and fortunately it led to the convo hall. Phew, I ran towards it as fast as I could with my high heels (ouch!). It was such a relief to see so many graduates from my faculty still hanging around the lobby, taking pictures, etc. I knew I wasn't too late and could still make it! After much heart-thumping rush and help from my friends I occasionally bumped into, I managed to get the robe nicely worn, thank God! It was pleasant seeing all my coursemates again in the hall.

I am so glad that my parents came for the ceremony despite having to sit through the boring ceremony which lasted for 3 hours just to be able to watch me go on the stage to get my scroll. :-)

Bro, SIL (sis in-law), and Chloe were already waiting around 530pm. It was really wonderful to have them attending my convo to celebrate the joy with me, hehe. The convo wouldn't have meant so much without them, hehe. Bro truly gave immeasurable effort to be the 'cameraman' of the day (dedicated just for me :P) of taking almost 3 hours of pics with his geng chau nikon! I am truly blessed by all my family members' support and love! YEAH!! You'll get to see his masterpiece by the end of this post.

It was really sweet to be seeing my CG members (both from Hope and USM) being present for this memorable occasion. I also received plenty of gifts from them. My 'lil sis' also came, JUST FOR ME! Aww... I am truly touched by all their sincerity. :-)

The day continued with plenty of photoshoot with basically anyone I knew, HAHA! I had a satisying dinner with my family, not to mention the quench of thirst (PHEW!) that we all savoured after a few hours of dehydration! I believe not only me, but all my innocent family members also got caught in that situation... so cham... :-( More photoshoots after we got home. Ok, enough of story telling, here are the masterpiece as promised

Unbelievable!

Monday is here! This is the day of verdict. Remember the singing contest I was talking about last week? This is really unbelievable... HF and I both got into the finals! HAHAHA! Praise God!! We were both doing our own solos for semi-finals. I believe it is really by God's grace that we are in the finals, because the competition was really tight. God has blessed me so numerously this week. In fact, I am sure that He has always been faithful by blessing me lil by lil, yet sufficiently :) It's time to think of what song to sing for finals, better make it spectacular!

Great Game, Wonderful Outing!

Hallelujah! My church just had the best paintball game with one another ever! 60 of us including our friends participated, this was really a massive game. It was so exciting to see different teams playing with different strategies. I am very happy that this event has been very successful too. Thanks to everyone's effort of inviting their friends along, and of course the support from my church including our pastors. It was really wonderful to be able to get along with one another for this enjoyable time. I am still waiting for pictures from the cameramen/woman. Haha, all I can show you guys for now is this unforgettable wound that I got from this game. This is the worst out of the 9 bruises that I have, but I am sure it will be fine in a week time! ;-) I guess I was one of the main targets for most opponents, because I was wearing a bright colored T-shirt... as a consequence of not having my dark colored long-sleeved Ts in Pg. Kinda scary to be targetted by 3 opponents at the same time. Nevertheless, it is still a GREAT game! Praise God for this event!

Something Different

I must write something about today's event! I was being quite nervous almost the whole day the moment I woke up until about 5 pm! I tried to think about other things... tried concentrating on my work rather... but the cold sweat just never went away... It kept on coming from time to time. WHY?? Haha, cos I was on the verge to going for an audition for a singing contest! Yeah, you may think I am too free to end up joining a singing contest when I am already having a job... well, that's a once in a lifetime kinda experience, so better just do it. Like the saying goes, "You don't wanna look back to your past 50 years from now and regret for not taking a step of courage right now." Sounds familiar? Haha, you could have heard that from a movie, I guess you know it! Anyway, really thank God for the courage and peace in my heart. Thanks to all my friends whom came and supported. It's wonderful to see that they were the ones who made up 80% of the audience crowd. It's a fun experience!!

No worries!!!

I am so encouraged to see more and more new ppl coming to join Bayan Lepas CG. 3 of us from our CG shared Gospel to a new comer yesterday. It was more like a relax one including sharing our testimonies and usual lifestyle to this new friend. Throughout the sharing, I was really encouraged by LB & D after hearing the little things in life that God can bless us. Now I am reminded again to always learn how to put my worries away and lighten my burden through prayers and faith everytime I am caught with a troubled heart. I realise how unpeaceful my mind and heart can be when I am hit by a BIG crisis, yet trying to solve it with/by my own strength. Wouldn't it be better if we can gain peace and confidence from God first? Let's learn to believe in God for His LOVE, care and guidance. Go ahead and tell Him your troubles. It's not so hard to pray, you know. Just start from... "Dear God...*say everything you wanna tell Him in any language*," and end with ... "In Jesus' name I pray, Amen." Yes, it's that easy! Try it!!! God will hear you, you'll be surprised!! God bless you!

Watch Your Lunch

Imagine this... You are in a nice air-conditioned restaurant for lunch. As you're flipping through the menu, prices of the ala carte items seem like a lil costly and you start to think that you're gonna burn a lil hole in ur wallet if you order another extra soup which will cost you an extra RM6 maybe? Then, you see this attrative set meal, which offers the ala carte you wanted, plus soup, drinks and bread at just RM3 extra! The picture shows you a FULL bowl of soup with a nice cup of drink, golden toasted bread and such a soothing cup of dessert. Without hesitation, you order the set meal.

They started to serve you with the soup... and you notice that it's just 30% full. You start to wonder if there's a mistake... or have they run out of soup?? When the waiter is being questioned why the shrinked amount of soup, he just answered, "Oh... because this is a set meal." What the heck?!! So what if it's a set meal? So they are just offering the set meals at a lower price because the portion of food is less? When your ala carte arrives, you even realise that the portion of the costly ingredients like shrimps or meat is also less! Again, it's because the meal that your ordered is from the set meals? In other words, the set meals mean nothing but lower priced food at a lower quality and quantity. But all these signs were not mentioned through the graphics shown in the menu or indicated anywhere in the promotion.

So consumers out there, the next time you're gonna go for set meals, remember to ask and confirm that the items in the set meal you order are not down-sized or anything before placing your order. I have no idea when restaurants in Malaysia get so cheap to actually come out with this kind of business strategy, sigh... Places to be careful of: Pastasia in Queensbay and Hidden Recipe in Sg Dua. Someday when I am free enough to gather all the evidence and relevant information, I will raise up this issue to CAP. Do not remain in the typical culture of putting yourself in silent grudge when you don't get what you pay for. Make a difference man...

Fitness is BACK!

After sitting for more than 8 hours at office every weekday, for more than a month... my tummy starts to become more and more prominent :S :S :S URGGHHH!!! I cannot let this go on! Finally I have started my resolution today! Even though it wasn't a very intense workout, jogging around PISA for one round, plus walking (and jogging) to-fro PISA from Sunway Tunas wasn't that bad either ;). Anyway, PISA doesn't seem to be a very healthy place for jogging. First of all, the air is like totally polluted by all the vehicles around it. Secondly, there is not any proper jogging tracks... Ahh... Taiping Lake Garden is surely better :D With beautiful sceneries and much fresher air.

Let's hope I can keep this consistent. At least 3 times per week of workout. Hmm, I shall keep up with Pilates when I have a more proper place for it. Hopefully I can maintain a healthy figure and fitness level too. Can't wait for my bloodtest result too, haha!

Another Month...

After battling against my "annual sickness" for 3 weeks, it has finally ended!! YEAH!! Urgh, being sick really lowered my productivity a lot :S Another month has passed, feels like time just flies ever since I started working. Life has been so fully occupied with work and church. Can't believe that I am permanently stepping into the working world now. And life's so routine... and sometimes a lil boring... Darn, I miss my student life.

Hmm, Father's Day is coming this weekend! What are you getting for you dad? Hee~ Well, since my siblings got a watch for my mom for Mother's Day, I guess we gotta get something quite equivalent for my dad this time. Again, it's my mission to accomplish this gift hunt! Hopefully I can get it ready this Friday! Or maybe my brother is free since he won't have to work yet :P

Another season of my favourite series has ended. Prison Break, Lost... and now Smallville... Sigh... guess I have gotta experience "series drought" till August when PB is back with Season 3. Whoa... Smallville finale is superb. Haha, it seems every finale of my 3 fave series is exceptional and killing you to wait for almost half a year before the next season returns...

Sick...

Yesterday: I started off my day with terrible cough and the return of my running nose. I bumped into my boss at the car park and at the pantry. Haha, it's kinda odd that I get to see him twice in an hour time because I never even get to meet up with him for the past 1 month I have been here despite setting up appointments with him. The temperature in my office was much colder than it used to be somehow, I had my sweater on right right after I reached my cube. After a little bit of e-mails and work here and there, I headed for the department meeting.. urghh... I couldn't stand the cosy lightings and enviroment in the hall... and doze off... zzz...

After lunch hour, I started to feel lethargic and my body ache worsen. Initially I thought it was caused by the paintball. But every moment that passed by deteriorated my condition, until my productivity rate was zero. For the very first time, I left office at 3:30pm and headed to the one and only panel clinic that I knew. -.-", I guess I was driving in a little clumsy manner because of the lack of alertness caused by the fever, but thank God I managed to reach the clinic safely, got my med, and got home safely too. Without a second of delay, I lied flat on my bed after I had my medicine.

Thanks to J for getting me Kool Fever and fish porridge during dinner time. Thanks to all the CG members for their prayers too. Thanks to F for offering me his nicely peeled chesnut! And thanks J again for bringing me fruits after CG (well, I skipped CG :S)

Today: Hmm, I feel much better today! But I kinda lost my voice due to the cough. Haha, luckily my 1:1 is not today, otherwise my boss will have to suffer hearing my 'defected' voice!

Lost Season 3 Finale and...

WOW!!! Lost Season 3 finale is so cool! The flashbacks are totally unpredictable until the very end of Season 3. Just as I thought that their success of getting off the island marked the ending of the series, the subtitles showed that there would be a Season 4! OUCH! As though this is not shocking enough, there will even be season 5 and 6, which means that Lost will only end in 2010! But there are still plenty of puzzles scattered here and there to be revealed to complete the whole storyline. Lost has certainly gained its flavour again!

Too Tired...

Training, training, training... currently I have been busy catching up with bootcamps, and self-training for my new job. Been spending my free nights locking up to the laptop and WFH (not Wong Fei Hung, it's Working From Home). Currently the same scenario is happening... but it's a lil relaxing now cos I get to take a break and blog a lil as I am waiting for the 40-min simulation to be done.

Hmm, I guess I really need more rest, more hours of sleep daily. The piggy me had been getting like 7-8 hours of zz daily back at 2 months ago before I started to rush for my FYP right until now... . Nowadays, a 6-hour sleep sometimes can seem contenting to me already. I believe I can't live on with this bad lifestyle. You know what, something imminent happened this morning. I was driving to workplace, and as usual (because this is Penang!), I was being 'cut-Q' by those zig-zag drivers :S that these ppl actually always caused me to get stuck at the orange light right before me, sien! First traffic light kena, 2nd traffic light, kena again, then 3rd one, kena too! Sigh... So I waited and waited... until I fell asleep! By the time I opened my eyes, the car in front of me was like 100m away! Hmm, surprisingly the car behind me did not honk me... or maybe I just didn't hear it?

I must get more rest... gotta get this training done real soon and get back to my normal life...

Am I MIA Again?

Hehe, seems like I have been quite inactive in blogging lately... I have been busy with work, plus I only have the chance to access the internet from office. You can't expect me to be blogging from office, right?

Right now I am sitting here in Sunway Tunas waiting for CG members to arrive for dinner. It's supposed to have started like 20minutes ago, but I just start to see their arrival now :S.

Highlight of these 2 weeks: I went to Gurney last Thursday night. Before I caught Spiderman3 in GSC, I had my meal at Fish&Co. Being the 'tai tao har' I sometimes am, I left my hp on the dining table. But I tell you what, the waiters there are so honest they actually called J's number (probably because he was the last person who sms me) and we quickly claimed my hp. Hmm, either my hp is too lousy (nokia 6600) or they are really honest people. I hope the latter is true-er :P

Ok, CG will begin soon, better stop blogging. I will come back with something more interesting once I have my internet connection! God bless ya~~

Places To Eat, YUM!

I am back!!! Did anyone miss me? :P Well, I have been really busy for the past week, and had limited access to the internet, hence I couldn't find time to make any new post. So here I am, spending my LAST day in USM, yeah, seriously, this will be the last night I will be staying in this house... will be leaving this memorable place the very next day... and for good... :(

Having that said, I am going to write something about the food and places to eat around USM, yeah! Initially when I came here, I found out that the food totally sucked (eurkss, I never liked any food in *9 other that its nasi lemak). The food in Parit Buntar area is like a treasure waiting to be found and unveilled. The truth is, there are plenty of really good and unique food in this area!

Bagan Samak('river' food), Sg Kerian(Laksa), Juru Autocity(international), Serdang(fried porridge)

The first pic is Bagan Samak, where you can get really tasty 'sam mei yu' (3 tastes fish), I don't know why it's called 3-taste, probably cos it's sweet, sour and spicy? Err... You can also get really big prawns, etc. Since fresh water living are the main ingredients for most of the dishes, the chef need to have really great skills to make them trigger your taste buds! Next is the famous laksa near Sg. Kerian, at just RM2/bowl. Hehe, that's the reason I always have two bowls during each visit. The business is so good that the owner only runs his business on Saturdays! And usually you gotta line up to get your seat! Going a lil further from PB area, we have Serdang (which is about 25 mins drive from PB) for its famous 'fried porridge' (hmm, fried foods are supposed to be dry... so what's fried porridge really about?). This is the place that never fails to impress anyone whom I recommend the place to. Sometimes you gotta make advance booking before going too. Moving even more further is Juru Autocity, you can get any kind of food you want there basically. There are Korean, Japanese, Laotian, Vietnamese, Thai, Western and Chinese food, all centered in this place which is also loaded with luxurious cars from Honda to Ferrari. Don't know why the people there are so rich... hmm...

There are many more great places to eat which I haven't mentioned, but let me show you the ultimate place to eat here... TADAA!!!

Food fair in my house!

Haha! That's my place! :P The best part of it is that it's free from MSG, keke. And let me tell you something that may surprise you, I am the main chef!!! Ok, you must be doubting the taste of the food (maybe I am not good at making jelly :S), nvm... Let's see if you'll be lucky enough to get the chance to try out my 'sao sai' in the future. Hehe...

So here I am, wrapping my last blog from USM... I am gonna miss the people, the lifestyle, and this 'unhappening'(that's what everyone says, but I like it that way) place. Bye bye, USM...

Be StRoNG!

It's good when you don't have a boyfriend around you when you are at that pace of life transitioning to being independent and learning how to live on your own. This pace of life strucks me during my campus life. When I first entered uni and lived away from my family, it wasn't really a huge change to me as I could still depend on my ex during the first year. Hmm, somehow I just tend to be dependent when the there was a person I knew I could rely on was just so reachable. Now, that wasn't healthy.

After we got off from our relationship, I started to be independent and I actually loved that! That's when I really start to learn about responsibilities and know how to appreciate better the little things that people around me do for me. Usually when I don't get my hands on doing something, I won't really know how much effort is required hence I tend to take things for granted. Being able to live on my own has made me so much appreciative and stronger; and that also makes my parents so much more confident of what I am able to do on my own now. Thinking back about it, it's funny how my Mom or Dad goes like, "WOW! You did it? You're really good!" everytime when I rebelliously do something they don't agree with just for the sake of protecting me, thinking that I am too infirm to handle it. Probably that's because I am the youngest child, and they see me as the feeble one who needs more protection, hmm... Anyway, I am just glad that I have proven to them that I can take good care of myself now :D At least they won't have to worry that much when I leave to Penang for work.

I guess if I have a boyfriend who is in the same campus with me throughout these years, I am still that dependent girl who just knows how to look to her boyfriend in times of troubles. It's a good thing I don't have one. And hey girls out there, even if you do have a boyfriend who is just a phone call away, try not to rely so much on him and challenge yourself to get things done on your own first. The gratification that comes from your achievement will surely give you a sense of victorious accomplishment that drives you forward to being stronger each time. Seek God for strength, He's stronger than your bf! Live up to the power within that God has blessed you, girls! Be like the PowerPuff Girls!

RM2 @ Sushi King!

My HD asked me for lunch once I logged in to my MSN this morning, I quickly agreed cos I thought it would be nice to catch up with him after not seeing him for quite some time. Fate was just not by our sides when a temptation too strong to resist lured me. MC told me that Sushi RM2 promo was back and said there was still one final slot left for me. Hmm, I love seafood and Jap food... so... I, I... 'aeroplane' my HD... gone... Gonna make it up to him someday.

We chose to go after lunch time to avoid the long queue. Well, it seemed that many students like us were thinking of the same thing, hence we waited for about 15mins for our turn, not too bad. That was when I decided to take some shots of the situation then. It was truly a satiable meal! What more could I ask for with every plate of sushi I ate only costed RM2 regardless of what it costs usually? GREAT value and yuMmY!

Waiting for the long Q...

The first time I've seen so many plates of sushi during a Jap meal (except for buffet) -.-"

Try to count the number of plates!

Avril's Back!

Avril's back with her new album after 2 years! Hmm, she is my favourite female rock singer. She seems special cuz she isn't one of those girly singers with just a pretty face. She can write her own songs, compose her own music, and play piano and guitar, quite cool. So here's the cover of her latest album "The Best Damn Thing" which will be released on the 17th April 2007.

I've heard the songs in her album, they are quite good. There are 12 tracks, with 6 fast tracks, 3 mid tempo, and 3 slow tracks. I'd say her slow tracks are really good, giving them 4.5/5 averagely. I'd give the album an overall score of 4.3/5. If you're an Avril and rock fan, the album will surely be worthy of the cash spent on it.

She's married now, and her image is slightly a lil different than she intially was. Not so much of the Rock Princess look, a lil girly outlook like Ashlee Simpson. Check out her latest video here and be the judge yourself.

Prison Break Never Fails

Everytime when I told someone that Prison Break was superb, he/she would reply me with, "You just like to see the leng chai in the series" or "It's just another series lah.." or "It's a chicks' show...". Hmm, in fact, I said, "It's just some silly series that wastes your time lah.." when my friend first spoke to me about the series. Haha, I don't need to convince those that I spoke to about this series any further, I just need to get them to watch the pilot and they will find themselves totally chained to the series! This has NEVER failed, Prison Break NEVER fails!

The addiction is so contagious, really. It's funny how I started watching it last sem during my AIC project while we were waiting for some long simulations to be done, and that's how I got my teammates (whom also happened to be my housemates) to start watching PB too. Ever since then, they all got addicted just like me and we all PB addicts would gather in my room every Tuesday night to watch the latest episode, hahaha. CK and SL were a lil left out at the beginning, but they managed to finish the WHOLE season which consists of 22 episodes in just 2 days! -.-" really sweat...

Soon the "PB virus" spread to other clans, now I guess more than 10 friends in USM are 'infected' already :P Not to mention some non-USM-ers like PS, HF, J, and SKY hahahaha, they are all PB addicts now! Yes, I am an addict too...(you PB fans out there surely know what that quote is about!)

Anyway, just a quick entertainment of 40 minutes weekly isn't so bad. Plus, Season 2 has just ended last week... Now we've gotta wait until 29th August for season 3 premiere. Gonna have a drought season soon as all my fave series are hitting a season ending soon, including Lost.

So is anyone of you starting to wonder what's so good about Prison Break already? Hmm, I guess Jazlie wrote a very good review on PB in her blog, you can check out what PB is all about at her blog, just click on the link to "Jazlie" at my sidebar and check out the review she wrote! Or visit http://jazlie.blogspot.com/2007/04/prison-break-finale-season-2.html ;-) Here's a sneak preview on Season 3! Cheers~~

Sepang GP - Did Massa Screw It?

Sepang F1 GP was finally here!! But what difference does it really make to me?... hmm... after all I was not anywhere at the circuit :P Well, SKY was there with his family... eee... so envy you... :P

Knowing that Ferrari's Massa was on pole with Kimi backing him up on the 3rd position, I was quite positive Ferrari might check the flag with a sleek 1-2 finish. But Massa was easily confused by Alonso's move which made him took the outer path during the first corner and he lost 2 positions to McLaren's Alonso (urgh, I don't like this guy :@) and Hamilton (wow, he is really a great driver!).

Hamilton performed a great defense for Alonso that the gap between Alonso and the rest was so huge everything seemed too predictable I lost my excitement to watch the race. Massa did plenty of mistakes during the race... his impatience to overtake Hamilton caused him to lose 2 more positions when he had a stab down into turn four and got the brakes locked sliding the Ferrari off the track... sigh... Not too bad though as I thought Kimi could handle Hamilton better! :P

Hmm, didn't really know what happened in the middle of the race because I fell asleep... zz... a little boring race in the middle. The last few laps of the race were quite interesting as we could see Raikkonen giving his best shot in trying to claim the runner-up position, but... to no avail at the finish line though... Man, he looked so beaten up on the podium. Quite sad to see that Alonso and Hamilton kinda neglected him during the toast.

If only Schumi didn't retire and is teaming up with Raikkonen now... could it have been better? Let's hope Massa will do better next time. YES, do ur best, Massa! Let's hope either Kimi or Massa will grab the championship away from Alonso!

Btw, an exclusive take from S.K.Y here:
That's Kimi Raikkonen, my current favourite F1 racer!

Sprain or Ergonomic Problem?

Every now and then, my right wrist suffers from this tingly ache whenever I twist it to the side. No, it's not that I overstrain it or anything, just a simple action of brushing my hair to the left side already triggers the pain.. :( It has been lingering for more than 2 months... urghh... It gets annoying sometimes because I have trouble doing many things, simple things that I need to do daily, like moving the steering wheel when I drive, picking up a bottle of 1 litre water and the list goes on... I am left with no choice but to stop playing badminton or to get involved in any kind of sports that requires strength from the wrist. Crap... what kinda sports am I left to do? Jogging? Swimming? Hiking? That's all? What about the fun sports games? Badminton and tennis no more? :'(

I was trying to recall the cause of this aggravating pain, yes, it's getting worse. I really started to feel the pain about 3 weeks ago. Now why would I say it has been around for 2 months then? About 2 months plus ago, my right wrist was over-twisted by a friend. From that day onwards, I could not play badminton anymore because my wrist ached badly everytime when I did. I thought it recovered a few weeks after that (there was no sign of pain for quite some time) until after a month; when the pain returned after enormous time spent on typing my FYP thesis. Blame it on the mouse, oops... lemme rephrase; blame it on ME, for not positioning my hand at the right level on the mouse. I used to place my right hand a lil too far that I needed to extend my arm too much, and a lil too high I was actually stressing my wrist badly, urgh...

Here are some tips of how you should position your mouse that I find useful:
1. Place your mouse close to your keyboard and within easy reach. You should be able to use your mouse comfortably with your arms close to your side, and your elbows at a slightly "open" angle.
2. Use your elbow-not your wrist-to move the mouse. Keeping your forearms in one place and using your wrists to "flick" the mouse can increase intracarpal pressure-leading to wrist and finger pain.
3. Don't click too hard!
4. Make sure you're holding your mouse correctly. Avoid letting your fingers "hover" above the mouse or trackball buttons. Always use a light grip. Don't hold the mouse when you're not using it, and keep your wrists in a straight or "neutral" position.

Of course, there are more on the keyboard and monitor positioning, and lighting etc as well. I find this site quite useful. Check it out for tips on office ergonomic, and other computer-related health topics.
http://www.healthycomputing.com

Hmm, so is my wrist pain really caused by the over-twist or ergomonic issue? I guess it started from the sprain (or just sTrain rather?), which was almost recovering but was then aggravated by the lousy ergo practice I engaged for 3 days straight. I consulted my doctor about it, and he just told me to apply a heat pack (which I still haven't bought :S) to it frequently. Yah yah... please remind me to buy the heat pack...

Lucky Day

Last Tuesday was really my lucky day. I escaped from two fine tickets. I would say that I am an obedient driver on the road. It has always been my habit to wear the safety belt before pushing into gear 1 or gear R. This time around, when I was just about to make a move, Dad rang me up to ask if I was reaching home early. My mind was totally not focusing after we ended the call and so I forgot to put on the belt. I was strolling at about 40kmph when I saw a minor accident bout 50m away... two traffic policemen were at the scene, I didn't know my safety belf was unattached... closing up to 20m, and only then I knew it! I remained sober and slowly slid the belt across me... I was fortunate the policemen were busy looking at the motorcycle then, phew... That was the first escape.

Next, I headed to KFC... hehe... my usual favourite hi-tea or early dinner with buddies because of the Tuesday specials :P Parked my car, with a one hour loaded duration. Guess we were too engaged with our conversations we forgot about the parking. Again, about 20m when we were reaching the parking lot, I saw the man in the blue uniform writing sth on his RED book! Ahhh!!! I quickly activated the alarm, just the blue button ok? :P Thank God the guy was kind enough to cancel the ticket, he even smiled back to us. He was really kind :)

Hey... I don't mean to encourage you ppl out there to not wear your safety belts or leave the parking meter unloaded, ok? I admit it's wrong for me to have conducted these 2 acts, but I was lucky to have escaped this time. It doesn't mean I'll be as lucky the next time! I also learnt my lesson even though I didn't get the fine. Well, if I did, I would have paid for the tickets. NO bribery ok! Now I remember better to put on the safety belt even after I talk on the phone. I do time up my parking duration too now :P I repeat, DO NOT offend the laws ahhh!!!

This Could Be My New Job

Oops... I did it again... :P Yeah, I became the tour guide of Taiping once again last Friday. I am getting better at it that I have come out with packages of the places to visit. Well, I won't say Taiping is a happening place, hence I only managed to come out with 2 packages eventually. Lemme count... this will be the 6th time I am tour-guiding my coursemates to Tpg in my final year... hmm... gonna be eligible to be a certified tour-guide already.

We took off from Parit Buntar late at 10am, initial plan was to kick off at 9. It didn't take us that long to reach Taiping anyway, the 'Monaco track' was a piece of cake already since I stroll along it almost every week (some of you may know exactly what I am talking about!). Our first stop was at Maxwell Hill. Unfortunately, the ride back to foothill was a lil too late so we just cancelled the plan.

We headed to Taiping's famous 'pool pool' as a backup plan! We had a fun time playing in the pool. I love the water so much I was the first to get myself all soaked wet! There are some pools which are really deep and you can actually swim around, wheeEEE!!

After our visit to zoo, 4 of them headed for boat paddling (2 by 2). I had gone through that way too many times so I decided to just walk around the garden to take some nice pics on its scenery, also being my friend's photographer while they were busy enjoying themselves in the lake. Here are the pics ...
So what do you guys think of the pics? Most of all, how do the tourist spots of Taiping impress you or disappoint (I hope this is not it...) you? Do I seem like I am promoting Taiping now? Haha, maybe! Taiping is indeed a nice spot for a 2D1N vacation. Hey btw, the places that I mention in this post is just 30% of the attractions, I still have another package to be unveilled someday ;-).

Love of Your Life

I was watching Smallville Season 6 episode 16 the other day. Man, it's a pathetically sad episode. Let me just tell you some background about the series if you are not familiar with it. Basically it's a story about Superman, Clark Kent's youth's life, before he got together with Lois. The whole series resembled Lana as the love of his (Clark) life. The ep revealed Lana eventually finding out Clark's supernatural power, and overheard the conversation unveiling the reason Clark rejecting Lana's love all this while, which was to protect her (if he told her about his powers, she would die. That's how Superman's biological dad set the rules). And all these happened the hour before Lana's wedding with Lex!

She decided to call the wedding off then, told the whole plan to Clark when they reconciled the final hour before the wedding. But due to the dictatorous (is there such a word?) threat by Lex's dad of killing Clark (he knew the way), she was forced to comply to the wedding. The wedding ended up with fake facade from Lana trying to act happy, nevertheless the sadness still showed, and Clark helplessly watching her from the back of the crowd with tears of regrets. Oh man... that scenario... really pathetic...

At that moment as I was watching it, I just hoped my life will never end up with complicated relationships like that, you know, the fact that ppl ended up marrying someone who is not the love if his/her life...... aihh... Hahaha, that was just an impulsive thought that crossed my mind. Mmph, I do not want to add any love philosophy here. Just thinking... does everyone who has/will married/marry is being with the love of his/her life? ... ...

Prison Break with Season 3?

I was totally addicted to Prison Break the moment I started watching the pilot. I won't deny that a very dominant reason was because of the good-looking leading actor and attractive leading actress. Season 1 ended with everyone in the plan except for DB Cooper escaped from the prison eventually. Season 2 is all about how the brothers were still fighting towards Linc's exoneration causing lives of many people around them. Now, there's only 1 single episode left in Season 2, that'll be on next Tuesday! It seemed quite promising that Season 2 Finale was gonna wrap up the whole story.

But guess what! There'll be a Season 3! Huh??? What about the title? See, it's called Prison Break but if Season 3 continues with them straying around the cities or wherever... what does it really have to do with the title? According to the producer, there may be a new name for the series... I dunno... perhaps "Cat Chasing After The Mice", "On The Neverending Run" or sth... :S Well, Season 3 will be premiered on 29th August 2007. It's very likely that S3 will be the last season. Let's hope that Season 3 will be a great one!

Finally!

I am back! Haha, it's a nice feeling to know that actually PS has been waiting for my blog. It's late now... 5 minutes to 4:00 am :S My mind is kinda blank now, a result of lacking sleep and feeling all blur currently. So what am I gonna write?

Just gonna touch on some light stuffs. It's a great feeling to finally hand up my thesis this morning! Well, the due date was actually yesterday, but I was late as I had to wait for a long time at the photocopy shop and my printer was having some prob before that. You know, I felt so devastated when I realised that I couldn't pass up my thesis in time anymore, and that all my extreme (yes, really extreme as I only slept for about 2 hours or less for 3 days straight to rush for the report) effort were for nothing in the end. I even thought of not going to school to pass it up as the clock ticked 5:30pm since the admin wouldn't be there anymore.

But thank God He spoke to me, and led me to perseverance. I still strived to the very end and went to campus to try my luck. As expected (my unwilling expectation, really), the office was all pitch-black by the time I reached. I was praying throughout the whole process, from the very beginning of my thesis until... now? But God is so good, somehow the director of FYP and my FYP lecturer were still in campus! That was unusual! And it didn't take me a lot of effort to meet them as they were both in their own rooms only! In the end, I spoke to both of them with the evidence that I had already got my thesis done. Praise the Lord again that both of them leniently approved my thesis and said that I would not be considered as late whatsoever in handing up my thesis! WOW! The way every circumstance fall into place is just marvellous, it totally gave me a picture of how God plans the best things for me. The thesis wouldn't be approved without stamping from the admin, so I had to get it approved from the office early this morning. God did as He promised, the submission date was stamped as 26th March instead of 27th March, PTL!

Just wanna take this chance to thank KM for 'supplying' his printer and cartridge. Also thanks to MC for helping me to arrange the thesis pages accordingly and the AA papers as well. It's a wonderful feeling to have true friends around me who give me help and support in my tough times. Thanks alot, you guys!

Gonna share a quite an embarrassing pic here.
This is terrible... looks like some kinda warzone like some riots have just occurred, huh? (hey, don't go too far with your imagination on the jeans ok!!?) Err... I tend to get out of control with my tidyness during hectic times. I can tell you that my room was totally neat the previous monday.
Anyway, I got it all nicely tidied up! Check out the transformation! Hey, it took me like 3 hours to achieve this (basically spent most of the time packing for relocation). Errr... I think I did quite a good job, didn't I? :P

Exhausted...

Looks like I have been missing for quite some time from blogging. Well, I have been really busy catching up with my FYP, staying in the lab for more than 8 hours daily, already starting to experience my future work life of scrutinizing the complex circuits and tiny nodes of multilevel xtor... :S Let's not talk about that first. Actually feeling kinda fatigued now, so I am just dropping by for a short message to show that I am still active in this blog page. I promise there will be more interesting blogs to come after 26th March. Stay tune! Haha, sure many of you are happy I am not writing anything lengthy this time! HurRaY!

Human Height

Where does your height stand when compared to the population of the world? It's hard to compare our heights in such a way for height can vary in different ethnic, weather and enviroment. Of couse I was curious of where my height stands among the Asians and so I goggled out this piece of info below. I suppose I belong to 'others' (not the ones from Lost lah!) category since I don't see any Asians other than White, Black, and Hispanic. Cut this short, I am gonna show you the charts now:

I also did a quick study on human heights. I come across some interesting discovery. Diet (in addition to needed nutrients; such things as junk food and attendant health problems such as
obesity), exercise, fitness, pollution exposure, sleep patterns, climate (see Allen's rule and Bergmann's Rule for example), and even happiness (psychological well-being) are other factors that can affect growth and final height. Woow.... sleep patterns... had I been lacking sleep during my teenage life? Urghh... regretting now is too late anyway. So you people who still have younger bro and sis out there please do something about them when you still can.
Some additional info picked from Wikipedia: The short stature of Asians may also be contributed by nutritional factors such as low calcium intake partially due to lactose intolerance in 90% of their adult population, limited consumption of protein, iron, vitamin A, reduced vitamin D, partially from their nutrition; and also from their skin that cannot synthesize as much vitamin D because their skin is darker, and consumption of large quantities of soy products which contains isoflavone, a phytoestrogen.
Further reading can be done at this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height
There's also a table for you to check out the average height of different ethnic in the world.
Ohh... Sometimes I wish I was taller... -.-

Are You The Date Magnet?

My MSN was just starting up, and Windows Live Today was featuring this topic called "Date Magnets". Seems kinda interesting and so I read how true it is that guys can attract the girls. Well, the first few are reasonable and are a little more to the tactical ways of winning the girls' hearts. But I like the last two.

No call-waiting:“Contrary to what you see in the movies and on TV, I think it’s always best to call a girl when you say you are going to call and not play stupid waiting games. What’s that all about? If I tell a girl I’ll call her tomorrow, I do, and I always get a good reaction. In fact, I think it’s sad when girls are surprised that I follow up as promised. The right kind of girl doesn’t want a guy who plays games. Treat a woman with respect, and she’ll want to be around you.”– Jeffrey, 31, sales representative, Chamblee, GA

Be a gentleman:“I admit it’s old-fashioned, but I always open doors for a woman, pull out her chair before she sits and stand when she gets up from the table. Women are sometimes a little surprised by my actions, but ultimately they appreciate it. A woman once told me that doing those things made her feel like a lady and that’s what it’s all about. If you treat a woman like a Queen, she’ll want you to be her King, so to speak!”– Larry, 27, lawyer, Miami, FL

Sometimes the guys would believe that it's better to play hard to get, haha, just like what the girls like doing in order to gain more attention and anxiety! But too much of it from the guy is probably gonna make the girl annoyed, unless she is head over heels for the guy. Hmm, I wonder if the same goes to the guys too?

The Annual Bible Quiz!

What a fun night we had! It’s all about ‘blocking’! Ok, so here’s what happened, the annual Bible Quiz of CF is back! My CG which is granted with the name of the fruit of the Spirit --> Self-control is the defending champion of the Bible Quiz. We went with an expectation to defend this title! Hmm… 100 questions from the bible? We thought we were indestructible :P Oh, what a pride! Of course we were just trying to be positive and not being boastful of ourselves, that’s the way Self-control (SC) has always been, living to the fullest by being optimistic (or sometimes too optimistic? HAHA)

There were 8 from our CG who managed to turn up for the quiz, nice attendance! But then Aaron (one of our great hopes) was the organizer of the quiz so we lost one member for the quiz… Despite that, being as optimistic as we always are, we still thought we could win and must win hahaha. We even said, “If we get one question wrong, then we will just walk out of the door!” SC SC… always just making certain remarks for the sake of the fun and challenge. Whoops, we only managed to get #4 out of 5 groups from the first round, which was something like a jigsaw puzzle. Phew… what a relief to know that it was just a game to determine the sequence of the token ring.

The quiz finally started… see that 100 boxes in the pic? 100 boxes for the 100 questions, pick a number of a question, get it right, and you get to play bingo. The questions ranged from the very first book of Genesis to the book of Revelation. There you go… we had to strike a bingo of 5 boxes consecutively to be the winner. Tough game we thought… So what about ‘blocking’? Since we couldn’t strike our BINGO, we decided to BLOCK other group’s bingo. Selfish thoughts… repent repent… What goes around comes around (sigh), just when we were so close to striking our bingo, we got blocked by other groups, gone! That made us to be even more zealous to block other groups so that nobody strikes a bingo and hopefully winners would be based on the accumulative number of questions being answered.

Our efforts paid off eventually, with our group sharing the 2nd place with another group. I must say sometimes SC kinda ‘syok sendiri’, just bursting out in laughter and contentment with just a lil victory, but I love that attitude. That’s really the element that keeps our CG so lively and cheerful, not to mention always loud and noisy hence losing control of ourselves. Now I know why we are all placed in this CG called Self-control, haha!
Being the only member in red and the guys all in black, we were being called Men In Black and Lady In Red!

It was truly a memorable night with all the CF-ers, especially with my CG. The moments of being in this CG for 3 years are truly a beautiful blessing in my life. It’s wonderful to just encourage one another constantly, and seeing each of us growing together in the Spirit of the Lord, to where we are today. Self-control, continue to live up the joyful spirit, and continue to set our eyes on our Lord Jesus! Man, I certainly am gonna miss this CG a lot after I leave this campus…

Sweet moments captured during our CF meeting

I like the pics taken by our CF photographer, Joshua.

Trinity

The idea of Trinity, which states that God is one being who exists, simultaneously and eternally, as a mutual indwelling of three persons: the Father, the Son (incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth), and the Holy Spirit is not something that can be easily comprehended by many. I have been struggling to understand how the whole idea works too. A friend of mine once asked, "If Jesus is God, then how come He prayed to The Father in Heaven?" Well, my friend was referring to the time when Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane before He got arrested. I was blank for a moment, didn't know how to answer him. I have been looking for the answer to this question, and thank God I found it! So I just want to share this with anyone out there who are still looking for the answer.
"Now, why did Jesus pray to the Father?
Was this one God personality praying to another God personality? No!
If Jesus was God was he not then praying to himself? Jesus was not God according to the flesh, only according to the soul-spirit within him.
Jesus was the son of man and as such human in all points and was tempted like all of us: according to Hebrews 4:15. The conduct of Jesus is both that of a man and then as God also. Who but God can forgive sins? Who but God can speak as God?
When Jesus prayed it is the flesh, the human side of Jesus praying to the Divine side. Was Jesus then praying to himself? No, if he was only flesh, only a man, then to pray to himself he would have to be praying to his own flesh. But if he was praying to the God who is in him, who is also in heaven at the same time, who is omnipresent throughout the universe at the same time; he is not praying to himself, he is praying to the Spirit that is God. "
Oh! I have been so naive! I even thought I would be seeing Jesus and God as two different beings when I go to Heaven one day. So now everything has been made clear. In conclusion, God came to earth to have a relationship with us, human beings because we are all His beloved children. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Cor 5:19). Jesus is the visible fleshly presence of God, and when Jesus prayed to God (The Father in Heaven), Jesus was in the flesh, praying to the Spirit of God. How enlightening! Before I forget, let me share with you the verses stated previously:
"15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin."
"that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation" -2 Cor 5:19- NIV
I have come across this site which is really a well structured site that guide everyone, including non-Christians to knowing God better. Feel free to check out this site. The very first guide can be found at this URL:
Of course we can simply modify 'guide01' to 'guide02' in the URL and so on to advance ourselves to the next level to learn more about God! I would strongly recommend this to everyone. The guides are easy to follow, the contents are simple but I am surprised to find myself to be learning something new in each lesson. I believe that we should not let the fundamentals pass us by even when we are already walking way beyond the starting point. We can get ourselves motivated too by signing up our own accounts to make sure that we follow each of the arranged lesson. You'll be surprised by how the teachers mark your quizzes, haha!
That's all for today's sharing. I hope you who are reading this will be blessed by this simple sharing. God bless you with a wonderful life ahead :)

Forgotten day?

It was Dad’s birthday yesterday. After the clock ticked 12 midnight, the anticipation in him started to show. Well, I remembered his big day and greeted him. Poor Dad, he started to wait for long distance call from my bro and sis, one in US, another in UK. Well, he wasn’t that anxious when it came to sis since she already sent him a parcel a week before this. But as for bro… hmm… I guess he totally forgot!

The next noon, after church service at 3pm, and late lunch together till 4++pm, bro still hadn't called! Oh no! Then I knew I had to do something man... So I sneaked into my room and quietly called bro! Alamak, he really forgot. Bro's call came not long after that, haha, Dad was so delighted. Boy, I am glad now that Dad doesn't surf the Net, otherwise it wouldn't be so nice for him to be reading this, would it? :P

EE Farewell 2007

Finally a semi-grand farewell night is here after being in a public uni for four years. No, we don't get to have grand prom nights in public uni, somehow not many are interested.

Thinking back on last year's farewell, it was quite a disastrous one for me as I had to rush like mad and got myself in a mess for the farewell night. This year is a much better one with early preparation and I could take my own sweet time to dress up and get the make up on. After much delay from my coursemates coming from the other state, we only managed to gather at 745pm, initial plan was 7pm :S. There goes the puntuality again... sigh...

We strolled along the red carpet with warm welcome of loud applause and cheers, haha, felt like it was an award show or something like that. So these are the girls that I stepped into the hall with. The first (from left) with the sexy hot look, 3rd with the oriental make over, 4th with her self-made funky appearance, and finally the girl in orange with the all fairytale bridal image.

The tables were nicely arrange centered with a neat glass with a white lily in it. Okay... the service wasn't so good, I can't believe that after being there for more than 4 hours, the waiters only refilled the water once! Urgh... at one point i felt like I had the urgency to drink the water from the 'lily glass'! Perhaps it was my bad to not have searched for the waiters MIA whole night, probaly they were resting in the changing room or something. They just disappeared after the meal was finished, hmm...

Well, I am someone quite into photography and would appreciate the pics much better if the ambience of the hall could be 'captured'. Sadly, I could hardly find someone with stable hands or good techniques to snap some shots without blurring it out much (realise I use 'blurring it out much' as I don't expect perfection without a tripod... our hearts still beat after all). Well, guess this pic here is the best one among all the rest taken without flash. Quite a nice ambience huh?

The farewell was followed by a long sketch which was an impressive one, 3 dances and some other performances. The junior did an exceptional job in organising the whole event, it was simply amazing! They must have poured out a lot of effort in the whole arrangement. The closing of the farewell was a meaningful one, with everyone forming up the friendship chain, exchanging the friendship band, people shaking hands and hi-five-ing to one another, hugs... and a quiet moment of retrospecting the bittersweet moments we have had throughout the 4 years.

All of us truly enjoyed ourselves and treasure the special event organised by the first years. Here are some friends whom I usually hang out with. It was kinda contenting to see some of those who usually don't like dressing up to turn into princes and princesses on that night. Oh yeah, KC did a nice work on his appearance!
Heard they went for clubbing after that. I didn't follow though, was being the usual obedient child the moment I decided to just jump into my parents' car and go home to my town of serenity right after the farewell ended. Haha, I saved at least RM30. Sounds like I am going through a real student life with limited budget for extra entertainment. Seriously am a little broke lately to be frank!

Google
